today is the information session for the LOMPATAN APEX KE 2012.....we require to come up with a question each to be raised in the discussion ,and need to blog the FAQ session of LOMPATAN APEX KE 2012.......
before the discussion session,Mr.Wan Burhannudin were give us some introduction about the BIG ( Bamboo Interest Group ).....for example :he introduced to us about the principle of BIG...
that is understand and make manifest the sustainability principle ,3P (People ,Principle ,Place )...
the discussion session began.....
in this session beside student ask question,some of the Professor who are invite by HBP to involve this event also take a part in this session....and Mr.Wan Burhannudin also try his best to answer all question.....
everyone was so concentrate in this discussion session.....and also write down what were be discuss in this session....

1. how many bamboo we have??
how long does it takes to growth??
what is the challenge that are expected o face??
answer :
-10% of the forest in M'sia are bamboo....
- the Indonesia and M'sia will planted...
- the black bamboo are easy to grow
- mostly depend on potential
- deforestation
2. how this project will contribute to Usm,to Apex ??
how this project contribute help Usm go on top 100,top 150 ???
answer :
- we cannot take anyone as a model..we will behind the model,we need to lead..
- we need create something new to another people,to got the advantage..
- do we need to do,don't just say it...create the continuous way to save the 3p :people,principle and place...
- we just do what we need to do,not depend on someone to give us the place or number...
3. if there are other disaster???
earthquake or flood???
answer :
- South Africa build building with the bamboo in shape triangle,to prevent earthquake..
- all disaster are unexpected...we need to face it,no matter what is it..
- do something less corrupted ,learn to face the problem...
4 . what are the potential of bamboo to generated energy from water??
answer :
- need to research...
5 . how long of bamboo life span ??
answer :
- different climate ,have different life span...
6 . isn't bamboo can take part in medicine ???since bamboo are so widely using in construction...
answer :
- some professional bamboo can be useful in medicine ,but still need to research........
