Project 2C:Mask

26July 2010,Monday ,our lecturer En.Wan Burhanuddin were ask we produce 2

papier mache mask...one of the mask is our own fullface with the same skin colour...another one is the mask who have the face with emotion in black & white...

After class,we go to kedai Desasiswa to buy manjong paper..we need to tear the manjong paper into small piece before made papier mache,so the papier mache look smooth and easy to use to making mask...

This project need teamwork...cannot finish alone...so I work with my friend...

After we making the papier mache,we gather at my friend hostel to made mask...

We don't have any experience making mask,so my friend ShiJia voluntary to become our ''white mouse''...Thank,because willing become our model....After that,we face problem...because the papier mache is hard to making mask..the papier mache not smooth,and hard to dry....we decided change our material from papier mache to A4 paper...So ,we need to cut a lot of paper...

After cutting paper,we began to do the mask...I almost sleep when doing the mask..hehehe......

Beside making mask inside the room,we also making the mask at the cafe of the hostel.....It is shame because our head need lay on the wall when doing the mask...I can feel a lot of people using strange vision looking us.....Of course ,the aunty were doing cleaning at the cafe must very angry ,because we mess up the floor...I only can say:Sorry,sorry,sorry,sorry............

After finish making our mask,we need to colour it....

This is my masks...the left one is my own full face with the same skin colour,and the right one is the mask with emotion...I got the idea from joker when i were doing the emotion mask...So my emotion mask look some evil.....

We feel fun when doing the mask...it is a good experience.....I learn a lot in this activity...hope next time have the chance to do this kind project again......

Bamboo Sound Tool

23 July 2010, we been ask by our lecturer to make a bamboo sound tool or bamboo music instrument...
So,we go to the ''taman biawak'' near hostel Fajar Harapan to find material...We using the tool who were borrow from HBP workshop to cutting the bamboo....

After got the suitable bamboo,i need to process it ,to make it look smooth,and make the sound of this bamboo sound tool louder....

It is hard to make a soun tool..because need to put more effort...and must be careful when using the tool who were we borrow from HBP workshop...



I decided make a wood block to become my bamboo sound tool...
The sound of this music instrument is percussive sound,when i struck with stick...we also need to using this bamboo sound tool to perform on the last day night orientation HBP...

Beside making a sound tool,we also need to sketch out our bamboo sound tool ,and write up 100 word to descibe our sound tool on A2 board.... That is the end of the experience of making a bamboo sound tool by myself.......

Orientation HBP 2010

HBP freshman orientation were began at 23 July unil 25July 2010 at HBP...The main title for this orientation is GETTHO..That mean get together...

On Friday,we been ask gather at E48,to attend the opening of this orientation..Our's VIP guest(Dean,Prof IR.Dr Mahyuddin bin Ramli ,and Project Director,Faiz Bin Fuad) also give speech...

In this three day orientation,we have a lot of fun ,tired,and unhappy...

Fun,because i enjoy some of the activity such as:present cheer & trademark;game and explorace...

Tired,because all activity finish at 1.00am....when i reach my hostel already 1.30am,not enough time to sleep.....

Unhappy,because the time management for this orientation not well,no punctual.....beside that, most unhappy things is: senior using dirty water to punish us....

We also have the group performance on the last day orientation..my favorite performance is the dancing of group ...

I hope next year ,the orientation for junior will more fun ......

Natural Structure

Today,19 July 2010,our lecturer En.Wan Burhanuddin bring us to study from natural...He ask we in group of 6,explore to find bamboo clusters...







Our explore began at 2p.m..Before explore,En.Wan Burhanuddin were ask we sketch about 10 images around us immediately and must submit it in 15minutes...


After submit the sketch,we been ask to explore the site to find bamboo....On the way to find bamboo,hillside is hard to through...












Finally,we find bamboo clusters...We can study the bamboo structure and sketch it....

This is the sketch by me....I got the idea from my friend...

Beside study the bamboo structure and sketch, I also saw some species who I really don't know what is that plant.......

That were really fun....

What I Heard at HBP

Pada hari ini,saya telah menghadiri kuliah pertama dalam kehidupan saya di Pusat Pengajian Perumahan ,Bangunan dan Perancangan ( HBP ).


Lecturer HBP iaitu En.Wan Burhanuddin Wan Abidin telah memberi saya banyak matlumat yang berguna.Beliau telah memperkenalkan studio production kepada semua pelajar baru.Berdasarkan kefahaman saya,saya mendapati bahawa untuk menjadi seorang mahasiswa Universiti Apex memerlukan pengorbanan yang lebih banyak .Di samping itu,kita telah diperkenalkan process studio production iaitu Niat ( Intention ),Laku( Act ),dan Hasil ( Product ).Ketiga -tiga process perlu dikaitkan dengan tiga bahagian,iaitu Aktor (Actor),Aturan (Rule),dan Tempat (Place ).Saya mendapati bahawa seseorang perlu ada niat untuk melakukan sesuatu,dan niat adalah daripada aktor iaitu manusia(People ).Setelah seseorang ada niat,dia mesti melakukan sesuatu untuk merealisasikan hasratnya di tempat yang sesuai.Oleh itu,saya berpendapat bahawa untuk merealisasikan sesuatu bergantung kepada 3P,iaitu: People,Place,dan Principle .

En.Wan Burhanuddin juga memperkenalkan beberapa orang studiomasters kepada kita,antaranya ialah :Dr.Mohd Hanizun Hanafi (Lecturer Construction Management),DrAbdelnaser Omran Ali ( Lecturer Costruction management),Dr.Ilias Said(Lecturer Construction mangement),Dr.Azizan Marzuki ( Lecturer Planning ),Dr.Mohd Najib Bin Mohd Salleh( Lecturer Architecture ),dan Dr.Mohd Zailan Suleiman ( Lecturer Building Technology ).Ini sahaja nama lecturer yang saya dapat ingat.Para lecturer telah memberi nasihat kepada kita bahawa kita perlu memberikan tumpuan dan usaha yang banyak untuk menjadi pelajar HBP yang berjaya.Mereka juga menggalakkan kita supaya datang awal untuk menghadir kuliah ,setiap assignment hantar tepat pada masanya,dan cuba sedaya upaya untuk memahami semua pengajaran daripada para lecturer,sekiranya terdapat kekeliruan ,sila tanya lecturer,jangan kita sembunyi masalah.

En.Wan Burhanuddin juga tanya kita tentang tujuan kita datang ke Universiti APEX.Pada saya ,saya datang ke Universiti APEX bertujuan menunaikan hasrat saya..Saya selalu kagum kepada bapa saya kerana beliau merupakan seorang pekerja binaan.Saya berhasrat boleh membina sebuah rumah yang dapat menjadi lambang kepada keluarga saya,sebagai hadiah kepada ibubapa saya...

Walaupun blog saya mungkin kelihatan bosan ,tetapi saya telah berusaha....
