Project 3C:6 Balloon Black Bamboo Box

We been ask to produce a black bamboo box for 6 standard size helium -filled balloons by using bamboo & recycled paper....so we get our material ,bamboo from Rumpun Buluh....

After got our material,i measure the bamboo by using the measuring tape and mark the right measurement....a person need to use about 8 thin bamboo in measurement 60cm,and need about 12 thin bamboo in measurement 25cm.....

After mark the measurement,we use saw to cut the thin bamboo....

My friend help me hold the bamboo.....we cut the bamboo at the tapak ik....near the training place of ''palapes''.....a lot of mosquito......

these are the tools use to make black bamboo box...

Tie the bamboo stick with masking tape and rope....we use super glue to make sure the rope tight....

Finally,my black bamboo box done.....it take me 2day to make it....

i not colour it because i want it look natural......

i name this black bamboo box is: Balloon Coffin....

Funny right....coz the shape of this box look's like coffin......

In my mind,black box usually is flight data recorder ....but our lecture En.Wan Burhannudin were ask we to sketch out as many pages as possible of black box in the A4 Black book...After that,choose presentable image from pages of the black book,compose a A3 page of black book,and photostat page...lastly,wash page with water colour....




This is my black book...need to pass up when the end of this semester....

3A Casket 4Me

2 Aug 2010,we been ask by our lecturer to design a casket or coffin for our self.....When i heard about this assignment,i shock...because i were growth based the traditional....i were given the concept,''pantang''with coffin.....When i design coffin,i need imaging i am dead....

So i search image in google....i found differed type of coffin....

The coffin have differed price &material....some were expensive,some were cheap.....

These my tools in drawing coffin.....

First,I sketch out the coffin....It is easy to sketch the out look of coffin,but it is hard to draw the detail of a coffin......

We been ask to draw 4picture :

2.How we 're to be place in it

3. How the casket is to be carried by 6friend

So, these the 4 picture about coffin:

1. I were ''sleep''inside the casket who 're design by me....I got the idea from brick wall.....My casket have my logo, easy my friend to find me.....

respect to the person who are passed away....

Human Dimensions

Today,2 August 2010,9.00am,our studio master :Ar.Mohd Najib give we a talk about the human dimensions...human dimensions is study human body measurement on a comparative basis is know as anthropometrics...We been introduce by Ar.Mohd Najib about some theories..such as :Golden Section ,Classical( Greek & Roman),Renaissance theories,Modulor system ,and Anthropometry...

We been ask by using the A3 paper to sketch out some image....our ''jengkal''is use to measure our body length....because we need to sketch out our body shape with different ratio such as : 1:10 , 1:50 & 1:100.....


Second picture,we need to sketch out 6type of cube such as: layer,transparent,shadow.......

Dots & Line Sketches

We been ask with our studiomaster,Ar.Mohd Najib to sketch out 2building around hbp...Each student require to take 2picture,according the picture do the sketch with Dots & Line with different material & image....

So i use the different type of pencil to sketch it...coz i don't have the background of drawing,it is hard to sketch..

Frist,i sketch out the image of the building,after that doing dots on the image....Doing the dots picture is most tired,because we need dots without stop.....

Finally,i make it...the dots & line picture were done.....now i can take a nap.......Zzzzzz.....

Project 2C:Mask

26July 2010,Monday ,our lecturer En.Wan Burhanuddin were ask we produce 2

papier mache mask...one of the mask is our own fullface with the same skin colour...another one is the mask who have the face with emotion in black & white...

After class,we go to kedai Desasiswa to buy manjong paper..we need to tear the manjong paper into small piece before made papier mache,so the papier mache look smooth and easy to use to making mask...

This project need teamwork...cannot finish alone...so I work with my friend...

After we making the papier mache,we gather at my friend hostel to made mask...

We don't have any experience making mask,so my friend ShiJia voluntary to become our ''white mouse''...Thank,because willing become our model....After that,we face problem...because the papier mache is hard to making mask..the papier mache not smooth,and hard to dry....we decided change our material from papier mache to A4 paper...So ,we need to cut a lot of paper...

After cutting paper,we began to do the mask...I almost sleep when doing the mask..hehehe......

Beside making mask inside the room,we also making the mask at the cafe of the hostel.....It is shame because our head need lay on the wall when doing the mask...I can feel a lot of people using strange vision looking us.....Of course ,the aunty were doing cleaning at the cafe must very angry ,because we mess up the floor...I only can say:Sorry,sorry,sorry,sorry............

After finish making our mask,we need to colour it....

This is my masks...the left one is my own full face with the same skin colour,and the right one is the mask with emotion...I got the idea from joker when i were doing the emotion mask...So my emotion mask look some evil.....

We feel fun when doing the mask...it is a good experience.....I learn a lot in this activity...hope next time have the chance to do this kind project again......
